After turning on the file attachment feature in the CorelDRAW.com forums, I've noticed that many of you have started using it (nice evolution on Ted's photo in this thread... and no, I am not going to post my photo). Some of you still include photos using other hosting sites. While there is no problem in principle with this, I would still highly recommend you use the file attachment feature going forward. The main reason for this it is that having the photos you display on the same server as the forum entry itself will make sure that the image stays visible in the future, even if the hosting service you would have used doesn't... People who do searches in the futures wouldn't be able to understand the post if the image is not displayed.
And for those who wonder how to have a file attached to your forum entry, simply click on the "Options" tab and you'll get the option to upload a file with your post. If it's a JPG, GIF or PNG file not larger than 550px, it will display in the forum directly. If it's a CDR, DES, CMX or GMS file, it will display as a link at the top of your post. Files attached in forums cannot be larger than 128kb, which is plenty for images that you want to display on the screen.
If you have any question, please let the team know by posting in the CorelDRAW.com community forums.
