13th Lesson! Corel DRAW – Fountain Fill

Dear Members,

Let us learn to use Fountain Fill. It's an interesting fill type which you may use frequently in your work. We will learn the basics first.

  1. Open Corel DRAW.
  2. Draw rectangle. Keep it selected.
  3. Click on Fill Tool from toolbox. It is 2nd from the bottom.
  4. The second option is "Fountain Fill Dialog".
  5. Click it and you will get "Fountain Fill" dialog box.
  6. Let us observe the default values in the dialogue box.
  7. Black and white colors are selected for fill.
  8. "Two Color" is selected in the color blend.
  9. And the fill type is "Linear"
  10. Please do not change any settings.
  11. Click ok. The object is filled with black and white linear gradient fill.
  12. This is the image showing Uniform Fill dialog box and Uniform fill icon is marked with green circle in the bottom with the rectangle filled with default black & white uniform fill.
