Learn Corel DRAW, the magic of Vector Graphics!

104th Lesson! Corel DRAW – Add Perspective – Part 5

Dear Members,

We will work on vertical shift in this lesson. Corel DRAW provides amazing flexibility with its effects.
  1. Open Corel DRAW.
  2. Type the text, stretch it to make bigger and fill it with some color if you like.
  3. Effects > Add perspective
  4. Drag the points to add perspective to the text.
  5. On the property bar there is a box called "Vertical Shift". It is just besides "Horizontal Shift"
  6. Add 50 into the box.
  7. The text is shifted towards the top vertically.
  8. Add Zero to the box.
  9. The text is back to the position.
  10. Add –100 to the box.
  11. The text is shifted to the bottom vertically.
  12. Try to observe one thing very carefully. Whether you use horizontal or vertical shift, the text is moved within the border of the perspective only. It never goes out of the dotted red border of the perspective effect.
