Today, we will be releasing two updates for Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4.

The first one, which is called "Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4 Hot Fix 1", resolves two known issues:

1. Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4 applications would not start after Autodesk Inventor 2009, AutoCAD Mechanical 2009, or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 was installed.
2. When opened or imported in Corel DESIGNER X4, files from version 9 or earlier (*.dsf) did not have correct text placement on vertical callouts.

The second one, which is called "Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4 Localization Pack 1", updates the initial release of Right Hemisphere® Deep Exploration™ 5.5 CSE (included in Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4) to include support for German and French interfaces as well as the German documentation.

• This Localization Pack will patch all released version of Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite X4 and only Deep Exploration CE (Corel Edition) component will be updated with this patch.
• The language of Deep Exploration is determined by the language setting in Corel DESIGNER X4 / PHOTO-PAINT X4.
• Deep Exploration CE startup screen and info screen will now give you a better indication of which Edition is installed (CSE which comes included with CDTS or CCE which is the upgrade license sold separately)
• This localization pack also contains fixes for some specific file import filters, resolving access issue for some Deep Exploration CCE exclusive filters like CATIA 5 and JT.
• The update will maintain the Deep Exploration CE "level" (CSE or CCE) as installed before (e.g. if you have purchased the CCE version, you will maintain it).
• In addition the trial version of Deep Exploration CCE will be reset to a new 30 day trial period! This means you will have another 30 days to try out the advanced version of Deep Exploration CE).
