Periodic Table of Typefaces

Going through mymy regular blogs, I saw a post from Lifehacker about the periodic table typefaces (original posted on Download Squad) which I wanted to share. It is about a 3150 by 2100 jpeg file (1.6Mb download)  that the design firm Squidspot put together with a reference chart of the most popular fonts, including letter samples, family and class distinctions, and the designer and year of creation.Click on the image below to get the full jpeg file. And yes, with over 1,000 fonts, CorelDRAW should cover most of the different styles, even if they don't have exactly the same name as here.

One of the really nice things about this chart is the way rounded corners are applied to only some sides of some boxes and the variation in that application. How it hangs together is very clever.
