I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I've got a folder with nearly 400 .cdr fils in it with file names that are numbers (45-0012, etc.). Each file is a decal design in our system, but it's getting to the point where we don't know what names are what decals anymore. I'd like to print an index with thumbnails of each file. Is there an automated way of doing this with a CorelDraw file so I don't have to open each one individually and create a JPG of it?

Irfanview can print contacts sheets from CorelDraw files.
Once you download and install Irfanview and all the plug-ins.
Open Irfanview. Click on File then Thumbnails. A new app will open
Drill down to the file containing the files you wish to print thumbnails from.
Select options, Set thumbnail options.
Options Select all. (or the thumbnails of the files you wish to print)
Select File, Create contact sheet. Set you desire parameters and click create.
You may want to consider a donation to Irfanview also.
Irfanview will only display the low resolution thumbnails in the CDRs, which may be enough.
If you require higher resolution thumb files: try this free macro. It offers excellent options for this purpose.

That free macro looks great but the really exciting thing I found was the Project Timer in the ad showing on that page. For YEARS I have been looking for an easy project timer so that we can better price projects at the front counter. Right now I know we are massively underperforming in this area. Have you had any experience with project timers?
Thanks, everyone. I'll give those a try. I also found one called ST Thumbnails Explorer that seems pretty robust and updated. It's $30, but could be worth it. I emailed their support asking if this would print an index of thumbnails, and they replied that right now it does not, but a future version will. I'll try the Macro, Jeff. Thanks!
hi Sue,
Personally I haven't - but I can see it would be impressive to give a client an itemized invoice that lists time an artist put into their projects.
