Hi guys Im a newbie. Just bought the Acdemic edition of the X4 suite, together with Bouton's guide on CorelDraw. is there an existing or upcoming book guide (not ebook) for Photo-paint? Thanks a lot.

There is no printed book on PHOTO-PAINT and I doubt you'll ever see one
again. Before you discount an ebook as being lesser than a printed book, you
should really look at what an ebook can offer. I've yet to see a printed
book that integrated video tutorials.

My CorelDRAW X4 Unleashed Premium Bonus Content Edition includes a book on
PHOTO-PAINT. In total there are 14.5 hours of video covering CorelDRAW and
Corel PHOTO-PAINT. Details can be found at
http://www.unleash.com/coreldrawx4unleashed/ . Make sure to watch the movie
on the page to see how an ebook is *better* than a printed book.

Nathan Segal also has an ebook on PHOTO-PAINT. Details can be found at

Hi,

Fosters books, e-books is always recomended by myself.
There is an older book on Photo-Paint 10. By Dave Huss.
I would like to have had a better book on Photo-Paint, like the more comprehensive CorelDRAW 10 official Guide by Steve Bain and a great chapter by Micael Cervantes on Printing. And the Bouton book you mention is also a good one.

But dont fear the e-books, the ones from Foster is great stuff. Recomended.

First of all, I'd like to thank Foster for his recommendation. I wrote two books on Corel PHOTO-PAINT. The first was for version X4, the latest is for X4 and includes virtually all the content of X3, plus many more images and video tutorials - roughly 90 minutes of content. You can check out the book at: http://www.corel-photo-paint.com

In other news, I just launched a new membership site as of yesterday (May 26) and I'm offering memberships for half price until midnight, Friday, May 29. Among other things, it features tutorials on PHOTO-PAINT CorelDRAW and others, but here the main focus is on how to get more done in less time, so you can make more money. Hi,
1.    There is an old book by David Huss which is still excellent for a beginner.
2.    Then there are hundreds of books which have PhotoShop in the title.   "PhotoShop" is included in the title to sell books.  The contents apply equally well to PhotoPaint.
3.  I strongly recommend the two books by Katrin Eismann.  They are worth their weight in gold.
4.    Check www.Amazon.com for books on PhotoShop.  They apply equally well to PhotoPaint.
