hi all
when a Fill Daialogue box is callde It comes allways up with CMYK color model.
I usually use RGB colors in my work. so it is a little annoying.
Is it possible to change the default Color Model to RGB from CMYK in Fill(unifom, fountain) Dialogue boxes.

HK:
Start CorelDRAW, then go to the Uniform Fill dialog (Shift+F11, via the keyboard.) Select RGB palette. Then click OK. Now go to the menu Tools->Save Settings as Default.
Next time you open CorelDRAW and go to the Uniform Fill Tool, you will find that RGB is now set as your default.

It works fine but It makes new object filled with certain color for blank fill can't be set to the default color in the Fill dialogue box. I just want to have blank object when I create it and to call the Fill dialogue box with RGB color mode.

Hi Ahmad
I aleady set 'Set As Default' on Default RGB palette and know it works for most of sub palettes but It seems not to work for Fill daialogue boxes.

Then you need to change the default Outline color from CMYK Black to RGB. (select nothing > right-click the Black swatch on the RGB palette...)
Anything new on this?

HI, Ahmad
Actually,... It still dosn't work here.
I think I checked all what I have to do, use' Default RGB Palett', sellect 'Set As Default', and seted the default outline color to RGB. but It still shows CMYK color model in Unifor Fill Dialogue when it is popuped with a blank fill object.
any other suggesion?
anyway, the GIF looks clearer..
thanks
Aha, you open the fill dialog while the selected object has no-fill, so CMYK is the default you get and seems the one you can't change.
I usually start from an existing color or a color from the palette, but I don't open the Fill dialog for object with no-fill.
If you like to start filling the object through the Fill dialog, you can leave the Color Docker open on the RGB model. I leave mine floated on top of the Standard toolbar and collapsed, I just clicked the black arrow to expand it.

the GIF looks ugly here ;)
So, you might want PNG; quality on the expense of size...
Ahmad Ajlouny:the GIF looks agly here
The GIF Looks clear as far as resolution is concerned, but the colors look as if fountain steps are reduced from 256 to some where around 80 to 100.
Whereas the jpg is just a little blurry but colors mix nicely.
Peace I-)

Aleem,
You are so fast, you quoted the mis-spelled "agly" although I corrected it immediately.

Hah, the floating Docker looks like the Rollup which was in Corel 8, except for it dosn't have Auto hide button(mushroom-shape).

yeh, PNG looks best. it is cleaer and not agly.
Thank you HKLee :)
