You can do it with artistic media sprayer, for last 10 years... here I spray bitmaps I made along a path.

it is also another way to do 'Copy into text', dragging the object with right mouse button, into the the text.
anyway, Jeff's method looks better. I don't ever think of using Sprayer

hi, Pasting into text seems to work at first, but for longest time there was a bug where result would not export properly. In fact... try it now, and export art to a bitmap file, check output/.. probably no good?

Heh, that is much better than looking like a serial killer!
Now I've killed many breakfasts as a cereal killer...
You can also blend the objects along a given path using the Blend tool (and a path, of course). That has also been possible to do for the last 10 years or so.

you can use the Macro Oberon Fit Objects To Path

I can't understand people that spend their time and talent for talk against Corel or other company. Hours and hours on the chat room talking against Corel to all users. Uses a "commercial name" that says don't buy Corel. And also, you believe that Corel is not professional because you don't know how to to use it. If you don't like Corel, don't use it, but a campaing against Corel is not a good way to use your time.
wow and your statement
"And also, you believe that Corel is not professional because you don't know how to to use it."
is oh so ture and usualy the case with all who cry
I have used coreldraw 3x and 4x since 3x was released. My issue is with painter 11 which is a corel product and crashed with a frequency so great that I could not complete a drawing.
I went to and paid for corel's premium support regarding the issue of crashing. Corel's tech said he'd never heard of painter 11 crashing. I found lots of people on the internt having the same problem. The corel tech told me to test the software and get back to him.Testing the software I did ,on six differnt computers with 4 differnt windows operating systems. Corel painter 11 worked on apples Snow Leopard without crashing, but not on windows xp home, windows xp pro, vista ultimate with and without the Corel hot fix installed. I paid for two professionally (certified microsoft tech's ) to test corel painter 11 on their windows test bed computers and the program crashed. Corel sent me an email before I could get back to them with the test results stating the issue was resolved as far as they were concerned because they had not heard from me in four days. I was busy wasting my time testing Corel painter 11.
I believe any software especially graphic that has the failure rate painter 11 exhibited on my windows systems is not only unprofessional but a waste of time and money.
A friend of mine found scripting errors in the program, He told me the program was trying to access lines of code that were not there or the values were not correct. In anycase the program continues to crash. It crashed twice just last night.
I spoke to a corel beta tester (hello) and after discribing the issue , She told me she didn't use corel painter11. Great response. She also told me that corel was the leading software world wide while Corel inc lists their software as a cheaper ,easier to use alternative.
I tried going to the corel painterfactory site , but the site kept giving "Whooops" errors- no help there.
I asked members of the coreldraw site how to put objects on a plane and got a response on how to do it in under 3 days.I know how to put objects on a plane in coreldraw3x,4x, illustrator cs2,cs3 and cs4. Sofar not one person from corel can tell me why painter 11 crashes on windows os.Do you see the logic in this? I also have a great dislike for 3rd party plug-ins that allow features the program should have included with the upgrade. Adobe is just as guilty here in my book. If you are in business you can appreciate the frustration of upgrading and still having to deal with added costs plugins. Tack another plug in grand on the on the thousands you already paid for your graphic suite!
I tried to contact the CEO of corel and corel's response was they could not give out that contact information, they hoped I would understand. I assummed the head of a corportation underlaw had to be accessable to the public, but things change ,why I don't understand.
You don't use painter 11. Perhaps now you do? And, If you bought corel painter11 and it crashed so much that you could not use it, would you recommend painter 11 to a friend? Oh and her's a hint, you can get the coreldraw4x /painter 11 bundle for a great discount price and if you do you learn that painter 11 files are not compatable with corel draw , but you can work around that.
I have often suggested coreldraw3x to people that have problems with type on logos in illustrator , they for the most found the advice helpfull- another tool in the graphics paint box so to speak.
The good news is that using a combination of plugins and scripts along with programs like deep paint and artrage pro I was able to achieve the results Corel boasted Painter 11 could accomplish. This was not a good way to use my time - I could have been painting.
By the way, the non-commercial name don tbuycorel , does not ("say") or read ,"don't buy corel", run it through a spell checker if you don't believe me.
For those that speak Spanish the name would translate into sir tbuycorel, -a play on the enigma of languages. Read what you like.
I thank you for your response. I urge you to download the trial version of Corel painter 11 for your window's system before you purchase it. I did and the trial version version crashed, but then the hotfix had not been available. Funny the hotfix for corel painter 11 is for windows in anycase. good luck.
Wave the corel flag all you want, after all it's your job.
Produce software with bugs and hey, that may be your job too ,on a way grander scale.
As far as I'm concerned software that crashes at the rate Corel painter 11 crashes, from my experince with it , is bullshit software and the company that released it is bullshit for that reason. Please know I purchased corel painter 11 on the basis of coreldraws reputation.
I have spoken with corel painter 10 users who told me the bugs in their painter 10 had not been fixed and here's painter 11?
These people recommed painter 9 and painter elements.
Sure..........................................................
I've been using coreldraw since 3x was released . I have no problem with corelcraw3xor 4x on my apple/windows systems. I purchased corel painter11 and with the hotfix it has crashed so frequently that I can't complete the work.
I'm not crying .I paid for premium support and didn't get a resolution to the problem.
I tried going on the corel painterfactory site which gives me Whooppps pop up.
You assume too much.
the original post was about objects to path. how did this get turned into a bash about painter 11? I dont use painter so I cannot help with your issues there. I also understand your frustrations yet I am sure you will get your issues resolved. good luck
Painter 11 is proving to be a problem, which is truly unfortunate. i've used it since version 6. so far version 9.5 and 10 have been the best for me. i worked on the trial of Painter 11 and it was pretty much unusable for me as it performed like a beta software. i hope there is a comprehensive update in development for it.
