Currently I am having to use a font management program to copy characters as vectors to CorelDraw 9 via the clipboard because I can't find any simple way of producing e.g. U+0410 and up (Cyrillic) correctly (I haven't figured out what Unicode character it is creating when I use 0410 or whether, if I was to use any other Unicode series, it would enable me to get the correct characters).

Am I right in assuming that this is the only way to generate those (at least  0410 and up) characters correctly? If so, does anyone know of an add-in or some other piece of ancillary software that will enable me to do it more simply (the software I am using only allows me to copy one character at a time)?

From memory, CorelDRAW changed its text engine to a Unicode based one with Version 12. Version X4 has a docker that shows all the characters of a unicode font, but I am not sure if there is a macro / solution for v9.
