In the CorelDraw, you have on one hand a powerfull "Export as PDF" and in the other hand a powerfull print composition.

But you don't have is the possibility to print an assembled ready-for-printing set of drawings to pdf. You're are forced to use to third-party tool to print to pdf instead of to a printer (I use for example CutePDF Writer). All you can export as pdf is the mere document.

Why haven't the guys at Corel simply mixed the two functions ? And give the possibility to prepare the print layout and then print it to PDF and then give it to the printshop, all set and ready to be printed ?

We don't know... many have asked for this for a long time, about 10 years now. Since the, some free PDF tools like PDF Creator have appeared. I agree it would be nice to have access to CorelDRAW's PDF Engine from the Print Engine.
