I seem to have lost my Recent Files functionality. When I go to Tools>Options>Customization>Commands>File>Recent Files, it show that I DO have Recent Files in both "Menu Bar (File Mode)" and also "Menu Bar (Normal Mode)" [What's the difference?] And if I click on File when the Options window is open, it DOES appear. But when I click OK and close the Options window and then go to File, it is no longer there. There are just the two Separator bars with a thin space between them, followed by "Exit" which is grayed out. How can I get my Recent File function back?
Thanks for any help,
Janet
If you haven't customized your interface so much that it would hurt to lose it, you could overwrite your workspace with Factory Defautl. That should set it right.
Hold down F8 while launching Draw and, when prompted overwrite the workspace. You will lose any customization you might have done so be aware. Other than that, the process is quick and benign.

I just might prefer death to losing my very highly customized interface....;-)
Try to drag to another place, such as under "open" and save your workspace as a different name

Save your workspace and then try it. If it works, you knw you have some work to do. If it doesn't, simply reload your workspace you saved prior to F8.
1. I dragged it to my Standard Tool Bar--it appears there grayed out.
2. It is once again appearing in the File menu, but grayed out.
3. The Recent icon on the Welcome to CorelDraw screen is grayed out. It used to list the last few files used, which means I was able to get to the desired file immediately.
4. I can get to a complete Recent list via File>Open>Recent, but that's a lot more clicks.
5. I automatically go to File out of habit and am used to seeing the list of recent files there straightaway...
I would really like to get all the grayed out Recent's functioning....
