Something along these lines for potential feature: mesh transparencies... (maybe it was discussed)

For now, when  you need variable and complex transparencies, using PP would also be a consideration.

I'm not sure about this, since the transparency turn slow the display, if you add more transparencies teh system will be more slow. If you apply two or more to the same without convert to bitmap, the speed will decrease... first to do this, Corel must improve the speed of the transparencies

That will be a great idea.. I haven't come across any post about this.

The ability to use the Transparent colour well instead of everything being white or the original colour of the shape will definitely take CorelDRAW Mesh Fill to the next level.

I have no doubts about this Big Smile

btw, already is possible to add transparency to more than one edge, by changing the tool's settings

Ariel, what do you mean by that?

As for now, you can add more than one transparecy along any object by dragging white or black from the color palette and drop it on the line, like in this example.

Maybe in my brain only.. haha

The downside: meshes are still very challenging to work with for majority of users. I'd like to see more control over meshes such as abillity for user to draw their own mesh lines manually.

would rather a blend follow a path similar to what is drawn. Same with transparency

  1. make a 2 shapes.
  2. select blend tool
  3. press alt and draw curvy line between shapes

I agree, Mesh tool is still the most scary yet most creative tool of corel draw, I proposed the similar suggestion in a thread a few months ago.

Here it is

Peace I-)
