How to insert a Symbol (Str10038) from Extra Fonts/Symbols from CorelDraw Graphics Book

I am trying to insert a symbol from Extra Fonts but can't get it to work.  Are there special commands?  Please help.  Sarah

try CTRL+F11

First you will have to install the Font.that contains the Symbol.  I am not sure what Font str10038 in CD12 but in CD10 the Font is Star1. Almost sure it is the same in CD12.

Then as Fluid says you open the Insert Symbol Character using Ctrl+F11 or selecting Text from the menu bar and then Insert Symbol Character. Select Star1 from the list and then the symbol you wish. Either drag it to you page or once selected click on the insert button.

Thx Jack as usual I assumed the font was already installed.
