Hai all

One customer sent a coreldraw work which contains pantones.  He requested some changes in the artwork and wanted to send back for confirmation.  I made accordingly but when i export the entire project to CMYK the colors gone wrong.  I used pantone 268 u (solid coated).  when imported the exported jpeg file of the project the pantone color of 268 u is purely saturated (darkened) when i compared to vector object.

I had trails to export the project into RGB and the pantones are same, but the entire artwork is converted to rgb and pure black of 100% is now changed to rgb black and some other colors also.

and Another trail to open the work in Adobe illustrator and the pantone 268u is fully saturated (darkened) not appearing same like what i have seen in coreldraw.

In the last trail - i exported to adobe pdf here is also the pantone 268u is fully saturated (darkened) not appearing same like what i have seen in coreldraw.

I truly confused to come to a conclusion of what is the exact color of pantone that appeared in the screen and how it could be find the exact color and how it could be exported as it is,    without any color variations.

Lastly there are modes that imported bitmaps can be changed to monotone, dutone ...tritones.  But i could not find this mode (monotone, dutone ...tritones) when exported.  Only consisting of grayscale, paletted, cmyk, rgb.

Where are the other modes of LAB, BLACK AND WHITE, DUTONE......to export the entire artwork as a bitmap.

Please help me in this regard

regards

ram
