Hi, I´m new around Corel Draw and I´ve received an EPS file made on Illustrator CS2.

I´d like to insert in my project, and print it as correctly as possible.

if possible, I´d like to edit the anchor points

Is it possible??

Thank´s a lot.

Maybe depending on the complexity of the AI file.  The more complex the file the less compatible.

Import the file into your Corel document. If your having issues email me the eps and I will open for you. As David mentioned, depending on the actual graphic you may not be able to edit some objects. Illy generates effects totally different than Corel and translation between the two can become cumbersome. Some eps files have issues coming into draw. I usually open them in Acrobat and resave as eps and pdf for opening in DRAW when a direct import or open doesn't work

 Hi,

The EPS is not so complex and I do not need to edit that one. It does not have any raster effect. Its purely vector.

It gets an error when trying to open using open command.

If I use the import command, I´m able to put it in the artboard. But, It displays look like a raster image without any resolution. A friend of mine told me that althought I wont be able to edit the anchor points, I may print as seen...the project will be printed correct because that EPS is only an preview. He adviced me not to consider that eps preview and print.

Does that iformation proceed??

Thank´s

Yes importing and printing should work fine. I believe you are referring to an encapsulated postscript. You cannot edit the image yet it will print correctly.  If you have acrobat professional you might be able to open the eps, re save as eps or pdf and import/open the actual vector file
