Hello all,
I am making simple diagrams. In Coreldraw x4, I have found the Interactive Connector Tool and was able to create angled and straight line connectors between two rectangles.
However, I am in need of curved connectors. My office currently makes curved lines and painstakingly aligns them to rectangle objects. Moving rectangle objects means moving and aligning the curves manually, but this takes up a lot of time.
I have looked on the forums for "curved" connectors, that have nodes that can be manipulated in the same way, but I have not found anything. Commands like, "Arrange->Convert to curves," do not seem to work on connectors. I also do not know how to "lock" the edges of a curve to objects. My efforts to do this have been in vain.
I'd appreciate any help that anyone can provide, to make my desired curvy connectors.
Activate line connector tool.
Draw a line that is not connected to any object
Press F10 or activate Shape Tool.
select both nodes and convert them to curve
Move one node to the position you like them and curve the line as much you please.

Can you attached a sample of what you are doing...

@ Michael Cervantes:
I am so sorry, I wasn't clear about what I wanted. The diagram I've included should clarify.
@Cloyd:
Notice there are 2 connectors here. The diagonal, and the angled one, on the left side & middle of image.Their edges will stay attached to the grey rectangles when the rectangles are moved.The curved arrow however does not behave this way, because it's a curve object.
I need a connector that has curves, but behaves like a typical connector.I think I can add a gigantic amount of nodes to the angled connector, but that's a bit much when I need a diagram with about 70 curved connectors.
Thank you both for taking the time to read and respond to my post. You two are most kind. I'd greatly appreciate any more help you could provide.
So sorry, my earlier post did not have the image for some reason. Thank you both again for any help you can provide.
