I have a floppy ( in working condition) that was created in '90-91 in Ventura that I would like to retrieve the data from and use for a new project.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't be much of a problem. You should just be able to run it into VP 8 or 10. As 7 was really an interim release, you might find a glitch or three in formatting when it arrives in 8 or 10.

If it is because you no longer have a floppy drive, either find a USB plugin floppy (for 3.25 disks) drive or find someone with a drive and get him/her to put it on a USB stick. Remember of course to get ALL the files and transfer them to your hard drive. In Ventura 10, if thee are "missing" files simply direct it to where the files actually are (can do all at once); as I recall in Ventura 8 (or 7) you had to get it to find them one at a time.

If the problem is a 5.25 inch floppy floppy, some of us remember those :-)     .
I think my scrap box still has one of those under several layers of obsolete or non-functional items.

The file format didn't change much between V7 and V10, so V8 or V10 will probably open the files just fine.
