A recent post on the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 forum inspired this challenge. You can make Roman numerals or just plain numbers, if you want. You can do just the clock dial...or the whole clock if you dare.
Here's mine:
Have fun!

Could someone please tell me: what time is it now?
Each clock indicates a diferent time ... (ha! ha! ha!)
Hi Patti and all
All very nice dials!!
This initial post Patti talks about in one I put in-
http://coreldraw.com/forums/p/17644/74991.aspx#74991
This question was how to create the arc on the bottoms of each numeral and finding the easiest method for this and setting the dial out.
While all the dials are show are very nice anyone with any methods on creating the Roman numerals I would like to see.
Any templates available or can we create one for ease of use, on each dial the bottoms of the numerals would have different arcs dependant on the inner diameter of the dial.
The basics of creating a dial, rotaing the numbers setting the chapter rinds out are quite simple but the challenge for me was the Roman numerals and finding the perfect method.
Great work and cheers to all!!

Hi Silvio
I'm a clock collector and very often my clocks have stopped, my wife regularly asks 'what time is it?' I usually tell her to take an average!! don't forget they will be right twice a day!!!
Regards Mark
Hi All,
It is 4.46 on this one, night or day!!!
Drawn from a photo, it is the clock face on Big Ben London. (Not 100% accurate though)
John
John, nice attention to detail and realism.

To all the clock makers,
Wonderful work!
I am a casual Draw user, but have developed my skill set enough since buying X5 that I can identify the techniques you used. Though I am getting better at using - not just identifying - those techniques, I have much to learn. I wonder if you folks could report approximately how long it took you to complete your clock faces, from start to finish. Your responses will help me gauge my own progress in using the software.
Thanks,
Bill Coley
Hello Coley
A work of art, when done uncompromisingly, no matter the time spent in the development of the task. If it takes just a few minutes or several hours, is irrelevant, since you get the expected result. Just for your reference, my drawing took around 30 minutes to be finished. However, you must consider that I use CorelDRAW for years and I had no responsibility to "delivery just-in-time" and the task flowed normally. This depends on how much you set your inspiration, the will to implement the task and, of course, your ability to deal with software. In short: take your own time to judge when it is enough to satisfy yourself. This is the correct time.
Patti, here's mine that I started about 6 months ago, maybe longer. I got laid off and finally decided it was 'time' to finish this thing.
Here's one I did back in '03.
