Big Smile - I have Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 (came with machine)...basically I am trying to learn as a complete beginner to any PhotoShop packages.  What would anyone suggest as my first steps rather than just 'taking a stab' at it and fumbling through?

Hi,

You mention Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and you mention Photoshop as weel, as if they were tha same program, which they are not. Photoshop is owned by the company named Adobe. While Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 is owned by the company named Corel.

And all though this Community forum is a Ofiicial Corel community, it still is not the forum per say for Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.

Because you mention both Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and Photoshop, the equivalent program we refer about in this forum is PHOTO-PAINT, which is part of the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Which is a program suite of CorelDRAW & Photo-Paint.

The forum for Paint Shop Pro is http://forum.corel.com/EN/
