I am just trying to do some basic editing of some JPG format photos from my camera. Close Crop with some of the mask tools, create an object and move a few basic objects around (text, picture, etc). Almost every five minutes of use of PhotoPaint, it crashes with an access violation.
I have used Corel Photo Paint and COrel Draw since their earliest versions, and have always bought the upgrades. I'm a little disappointed in the quality of Corel X4 programs. I am now running Windows 7. I don't remember PhotoPaint X4 causing me this much trouble on Vista.
Is anyone else using this software on Windows 7? Does it crash for you?

Very stable for me.

Have you reset PP back to factory defaults and tried again? (Press & hold down the F8 key when starting PP and answer "Yes" to setting to Factory Defaults.)
Let us know what your results are.
