Yes I agree learning/ hand on experience is how you get to were you need to be. Sometimes someone may need a boost and perhaps that will help them visualize what is they are trying to accomplish and not to mention they may think in a very complicated way. So when they see it done it may help them simplify a bit. Now they can take what they see and apply it to what they are trying to do. I am self taught and wish in the beginning perhaps someone could have shown me some of the basics.

Being self taught is great, as the signmaster openly says with pride. We didn't have forums way back when and usually had to learn for ourselves ways to do things.
Sometimes we learned to do accomplish certain tasks in ways the program was never intended for.
I agree. Everyone teaches in different ways.There were many solutions described. If he takes it upon himself to use them then that's great. Help is what we are here for.

Yes he did just the other day. I tried to make sure everything I did would be relatively easy to plot & weed. Hopefully he will do just fine.
Absolutely that's why we are here. We should all really try to help each other.. with the precious time we all have.
