I am useing  coreldraw 11  and wen I am in Photopain I can take all my  JPGs  and turn them into a GIF Animation file and it works.

Now I use the Dither to help it  simulate  more Colors  I know GIF is  256 color Limit.

And I pick Optimixe option  but in the  Dither Dropdown box there are three options

Stucki
Jarvis
Floyd Streinberg

Witch one of these is good for if you are useing  JPG Photos?????

I can't say that I ever used dithering in GIFs. I always used "optimized
palette with no dithering". Not too many people use GIF animations any
more - what are you doing that requires a GIF animation instead of another
form of animation?

I also use CD 11 and have to dither whenever I am lasering photo images into the materials I have to work with.  I don't do animations though -- but when dithering, I find that Jarvis (Medium) at 250 - 333 dpi gives me the best results.  The Floyd Steinburg (Fine) tries to compress too much into the image and alot of detail darkens when I use that setting and the Stucki (Low) doesn't give enough detail to recognize the image -- and that's even with increasing the dpi setting.

Let not the one who says it can't be done interrupt the one who is doing it.

I just make littel GIF Animationa for my web site and they work so I stick with it.

Anyway Dithering  makes  it look like you have more colors  right?????

Dithering does trick the eyes.

Let not the one who says it can't be done interrupt the one who is doing it.
