Being an overal graphic designer I am missing a huge tool in all Corel products. There is never any mention of hexidecimal codes for doing web work. Many companies you deal with have a graphics department that gives you specific hex codes to use for their products listed on a webpage but there's no way to match that color because Corel does not allow the eye dropper or color pallates. This is a MAJOR tool that is missing. I think Corel has some great features but this is one thing every graphic designer would appreciate! I apologize if Corel DRAW includes this feature but I'm not familiar with it as I've only owned PhotoPaint 12 and X4. I hope they get smart and add this into the program in future releases as RGB and CMYK aren't enough. Cheers!
Download the Trial version of CorelDRAW X5 and check it

Yeah that is important.
Thankfully Corel added the ability to input hex codes in Draw & Photopaint X5.
They also changed the eyedropper so it can sample color from anywhere on screen, not just within the program window.
Well then!! I retract my previous statements about Corel never listenning to its customers! Very good news to hear. Thanks for the replies all!

Hmm, I thought that X5 included improvements to the eyedroppers, I don't use them much though so am probably just confused. Wouldn't be the first time.

Does the eyedroper read the number, after the monitor profile?

FosterCoburn:I have no idea how it chooses what numbers to read.
I'll have to check it.
