My son is doing a senior project and was needing some background info on the history, versions, etc of Corel Draw. Do you know if this site or Corel has anything like that? Or do you know of a website that may have this? I haven't been able to find very much.

Thanks,

John

Hello John

Some years ago, on the ABOUT COREL section of website www.corel.com appeared detailed information about Corel Corp. Now I am afraid it´s no so easy to find. Anyway you can find complete information about Corel history at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corel .

John, I just posted something in my blog that your son might find useful about the history of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. There is also some information available on Wikipedia on the subject.

Hope this helps.

Gérard,

I was the one who posted the "Features by Version" section in the Wikipedia entry. Mind if I update it with some of the info you've got on your blog?

I have been using CorelDraw since Version 1, introduced in 1989. I chose it because I have difficulty learning new things and Corel made it easy by providing a VHS tape in the package. I took the tape home from work and played it every night until I "got it."
