I've decided to run with bullet lists, instead of hitting the enter button twice, to display the product information in my catalog. Below is a sample of what I've done.
See how the line wraps, and continues it's text right below the bullets on some lines..... Is there a way I can style that so all text is to the right of the bullets, even when the line wraps?
Hi MrStitch, If you look at the attachment, you will see a few things that I circled. Tweaking those will give you the results you are looking for. hope that helps!
Of course it does. You da man!
Later on, i also realized that there was a 'bullets' option under 'Text' in the menu at the top. Looks like it has several options in there as well, so I'll play around with that too.
One last thing to wrap this up....
The bullets are a far better way to go for this project, as it allows me to get a larger font size, while keeping the reader 'tuned' to the structure. However, in some cases I would like to increase the spacing between each bulleted item. I know how to set the line spacing by dragging those arrows in the bottom right of the text box, but this also increases the line spacing 'within' a bulleted item (one that has line wrapping).
I suspect that the only way to do this, is to have several separate text boxes with 1 bullet item in each, then try to space them out evenly in a given area....
Thoughts?
Hi again, It sounds like you could just use line spacing if all your lines were to be the same space apart. I would think that most everything you need should be found on the Paragraph Formating Docker. But, you want some lines to be at diffrent distances apart, is that correct? If so, I'm not sure how you would do that other than having separate boxes as you said, which doesn't sound like the best idea to me. There must be another way, but I'm not aware of one. Play with the different settings on the docker and see if you can get some results from that. Sorry, not much help this time!
Can't seem to find anything on my end. Oh well... I'm sure it's an odd request, so I'm not even gunna bother posting a note in the 'Feature Request' section. hahha
What I have so far is starting to look much better anyways. I've managed to increase my font size to 10 and sometimes 12.
MrStitch:I would like to increase the spacing between each bulleted item
Each "bulleted item" is considered as a paragraph. You can put spacing after each bullet; which is: putting 'After Paragraph' spacing.

Mr. Ahmad,
Perhaps you might know. You seem knowledgable in this area. From your experience, am I correct in saying that you cannot have two different line spaces in the same paragraph? I have never found a way to do it. Have you?
Nice Jill, thanks!
Does anybody knows if the M.I.T will offer any kind of PhD for changing a simple bullet in Corel? I really really need it! Conmgratulations! Corel is the only program i've found in 15 years that is harder to use than any microsoft program.

You should try adobe products. Very difficult to use. Corel is the most effective program that I've found that can do anything. U just have to know how to do so... and you've joined the best forums to learn. Read through some of the other posts here and I'm sure you will learn quicker than you thought.... I hardly use any MS products except for excel. I do all my typing in Draw. All my photo editing in Photopaint....

Anyone who never used CorelDRAW X3 (the discussed version) will look in the Text menu. And I think he will read a word that says "Bullets" beside a bullets icon.
