i am new to corel draw x3 and need to do some halftone files so a printer company can just print my file any help will be very useful. also i cannot change advanced settings in the print section

To access the advanced tab to change .lpi and screen angle, you need to have a postscript printer driver installed and selected.

If you don't have one, you can always use the one Corel provides in the drop-down menu...........Device Independent Postscript File.

You can then access the advanced tab, change your halftone parameters and print to file using the .prn or .ps file type.

I recently bought an HP Color LaserJet 2025 and cannot get it to print the dots in the half tones.  This is a post script printer and I have downloaded the drivers from the HP website, but I still can't get the dots to print.  It is a solid area.  I have been using an HP LaserJet 1300 and it will print the dots like I want.

Also, when you are talking about the postscript printer driver that Corel provides, Device Independent Postscript File, how do you read the .prn, or .ps file.

Hi Jeff

When I click on 'COLORS SEP II', I got this (Browser: Google Chrome):
