For Christmas I got Genius G-pen f610 tablet and while it works great, I have issues with it in Corel Photo Paint 12. I can load up the program normally, but when I try to draw something, it tells me unexpected problem occured. I can calibrate the pen in the settings but as soon as I pick the brush tool to start drawing and put the cursor in the workspace, CPP shuts down with an error. Tried downloading new drivers for the tablet. I also wanted to download some Corel 12 patches but couldn't find any.

Any help appreciated! (apart from "Get Wacom" advices, thanks!)

I suppose you've already downloaded the latest drivers from Genius. Can you also check if this is still happening when you un-install the drivers for the tablet?

I had a similar problem with my tablet in CorelDraw, but after a restart, the problem didnt occur any more. Just out of interest, what OS are you running?
