  1. Page Edges
  2. Page Corners
  3. Page Center

Or consider them as Edges,Nodes, Center, … (snap to page as to a rectangle)

I routinely add a Page Frame via the Page Set Up dialog. Then I get the snap to locations.  I guess I never knew they were missing.

Same here... simply double-click on the rectangle tool and it will get you the page frame. You might want to put it into a guide layer, so that it doesn't print.

And same here…

Why do we have the P shortcut while we can double-click on the rectangle tool, and align any object to the center of the frame rectangle?

Do you think I should not ask for these snapping modes?

I can only recommend to be careful of what you are asking for because you might get it!

I think Ahmed and I should be best friends. I've been wanting this feature for a while, without really thinking to ask for it.

Currently, the way I handle this is to manually create a page frame, because I was unaware of the tips above (thank you). After adding the frame I would make the border transparent and Right-Click >> Lock Object.

I support this feature request.

Because is faster to align to the center of page. If I want to center any object, I just need to press a key (P). What you say is:

  1. - double click on the rectangle tool (then, this change the tool)
  2. - press spacebar for return to the pick tool (or select the tool)
  3. - Select the object, hold Shift and select the rectangle
  4. - Go to the Arrange menu / Align and distribute... Align
  5. - Choose "center of page"
  6. - Delete the rectangle

Really, it's no logical to do same workaround everytime I need to center an object, for each object. Illustartor doesn't have this option in past versions,  but now has this option. Same for "center of page" when print

I agree about to add new features and options, but no to remove the useful features

That's the point.

My question did not suggest removing any feature; you are not reading the posts again, Ariel ;)

In the mean time could you record you own Macro to do these things using the Align and Distribute - Align Edge of Page option.
