I'm having some issues with X4.  I can't seem to locate the Grid tool.  Is it gone?  Did they remove it?  (And, no the new Table tool is not a suitable replacement as does not behave the same.)  And I may be wrong but I can't find the toggle button to turn Treat as Filled on an off.  Seems to me that's pretty vital to have a round and it's ... not around.  Help!

Using CorelDRAW since version 2.

 Sorry, GRID tool.  heh.

Graph (Grid) tool is now under a flyout, below the ellipse tools flyout.
If the attachment comes through you will see what I mean.

The treat as filled, unfortunately has to be customized, which is rather
silly for such a fundamental item--especially given its out-of-the-box
default is "on." The upside to it is that since you have to customize it
anyway, some of us park it right on the "standard" tool bar (along with
some of the snaps) where it can be accessed without having to have
nothing selected.

FWIW, the graph paper tool lives in the same spot it always had, in the flyout with the Polygon tool.

Treat object as filled is an object under Toolbox>Pick tool..if you want to turn it off forever you can do it from here without having to do any customization.

John, that means you have two options:

  1. If you frequently toggle the Treat as filled option, do a customization to have an easy to access button
  2. If you infrequently toggle that option, you can access it, without customization, from
    1. Tools >> Options
    2. Workspace >> Toolbox >> Pick Tool
    3. Un/check the Treat all objects as filled option
