Hi,
working for a customer who still keeps running CorelDRAW12 it is really a pain if you have to save all Files created in X3 or X4 as v12 file.
I wonder if there is a way to convert all X4-files in a folder to v12-files with a Macro or batch?
I already saw some Macros called "wx_CDRSaveOldVersion" and "resave1-3" - but I guess they are more useful if you already open older
version files and not for batch converting.

Here's a customized CorelDRAW's wx_FileConverter (120kB) - it allows choosing a CDR version. Note that after installtion you will have both built-in FileConverter and this customized one wx_FileConverter

I doubt you could do more for us as our 'embedded developer' OS if you were paid to do the job. But maybe it is time you set up a Paypal and take donations. I'll make a donation of $30 to start the process. Pretty minimal considering the help you have provided me. We could at least help cover server fees and some of the other basic essentials involved. If you feel too modest or don't see the need, give the cash to orphans or some other charity.
Maybe put in a byline to your site. I never remember URLs.
Well via the macro monster website then. It's a major value proposition to have a macro developer embedded in the forum like this.
Os have a look at what I said about master layers in the other place. I wrote some psudeo code. The need has always been there. Would you like a list of needed macros? ;)
Hi Yani,
Good idea, it's now set up. I've been meaning to do this anyway, so here it is faster. You poked me in the ribs with a sharp stick!

Hi Os,
It's my pleasure to see you rewarded for your incredible efforts. To me you are the #1 Corelian in the world for all of 2007. We'll see how 2008 goes. Looking good so far! :-)
There will be a donation from me too.
Long before I set macromonster.com up, you'd made a huge difference for my own CorelDRAW Experience. So, even though those efforts of yours may be years ago, I can never forget what you've done.
When you look in the mirror, know that many people admire and care about you!
Os:thank you, Jeff :-)
Just out of curiosity, what language is used for the macro's?
VBA for the Code
English for the user interface.
