Can anyone tell me the backroad to export from CorelDraw 12 to PowerPoint?

I would recommend you try out the File > Export for Office feature. That will optimize the export for your need.

     Hi Silver

Thanks for mailing me. Gerard has answered your question. I do it some other way. I export all my corel graphics in .JPG or .TIFF format & import it in Presentation. Rest of the text required is either create it in presentation or just import it from other ready to import files like .TXT, .RTF etc. I do it for my convenience. It becomes easier for me to handle each element in my presentation separately.

This works fine as long as you just want to use the graphic.

However, I am in the situation where I need to work on a graphic with another person. This person has only ever used Powerpnt to do graphics, whereas I am using Corel.

Is there any way I can export graphics such that they can be edited in Powerpnt? All imported pictures get screwed up when I convert them to a Microsoft Draw Object, though they look fine when they are locked.

The graphics are simple lines, shapes, and probably the most complicated thing are some welded shapes and a gradient fill or two.

    Thanks!
