Looking at the available formats in PS CS3, no, there is no option to open
CPT files.

Open the CPT file in Photo Paint and save it as PSD, Photoshop format.

Thanks, but there is a too many file format support with third party plugin for photoshop. I think maybe there is a cpt file format plugin for photoshop.

I wouldn't hold your breath looking for that. CPT is not an open format (I don't think) so any converter would be reverse engineered and likely buggy.

I suggest you do as Michael Cervantes just suggested, open the cpt file in Photo-Paint and resave to PSD file format.

The strength of Corel Photo-Paint and CorelDRAW is the amount of different file formats you can open and save in to. The weeknes of Photoshop is the lack of the same.
