An animated GIF is probably not the way to go, well, at least AFAIC (could
be a big file size and you'd have to manually create each frame for the
animation... and if you're trying to do fades, that's a LOT of frames).
Since you say this is for the web, your options would be to 1) create a
Flash movie (not my personal first choice, though, mainly due to
accessibility issues and search engine issues) or 2) use a slideshow
solution... there are many types out there, for example: Slide Show Magic by
Project Seven is a good tool -
