Hi i purchased coraldraw graphics suite 11 a short while ago and i just got a new computer yesterday

Performed a migration through usb to the new computer (with Vista). and this program was one of only a few that didnt work on my new computer.

so uninstalled and reinstalled and i can open coreldraw 11 but when i get in thats it sort of freezes i guess. and if you click the mouse to anything all you get is an error beep.

So uninstalled again and retried and now comes up 1607: Unable to install scripting runtime.

I paid $400 for this program only months ago so I hope i can get it to work on my new computer

Can some one help me out with some step by step detailed instructions on how to fix so it works on my new computer with Vista?

Not sure where you purchased version 11 for $400 months ago, but that product is over 5 years old and is not supported on Windows Vista by Corel. Corel has stopped selling boxes of v11 in 2004. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is now at version X4 (14) and is fully certified for Windows Vista. I would highly recommend you contact the place you purchased v11 from and get a re-fund.

Unfortunately their policy is that once the seal on the software is broken, thats it its mine.

Not verry happy about this.

Would this mean that I am going to have to buy a complete new version or can I upgrade online that will come at a lesser fee than having to completely buy a new piece of software?

You are eligible to purchase the upgrade to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4.

I am going to ping my colleagues in Australia to follow-up with Harvey Norman. They should not have any v11 stock left.
