Been using it without problems. I  have it on authority that it is even easier under Windows 7 but Vista 64 works just fine.

Holy Crop! the blog dedicated to Cropping

If upgrading to Windows 7 I wonder if  it will allow Ventura to run without having to go through the installation process again?

If you are upgrading from VISTA, probably no. If ANY other version of Windows (XP--as an upgrade, Win 2K or below as a pay full price) you will have to reinstall ALL your software. Not pretty or nice, but as dictated by Lord and King William himself.
