...and also, you can use a free service, like http://www.imageshack.us/ and copy the link and paste here in the green icon (insert/edit image) when you compose a post

 Good Morning

Have put the picture on Image shack copied it then pasted it here using the green button but just an X appears

As you may have read I'm not smart whan it comes to these things so could you please explain how I do this? as there are other boxes when I hit the green button but put nothing in them.

Thank you for your help. Will,

Hi Chevelle (had a 69 chevelle SS (396) in my misspent youth Big Smile

One thing that tripped me up early in my forum membership was using the "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the post instead of using the "Reply" button at the top.  If you use the "Reply" button you will see tabs across the top.  One of which is "Options".  If you select "Add/ Update" under "File Attachment" it will allow you to attach your file.  I think there is a file size limit though (256 K), so you should make your file smaller than that. You can post these formats: .cdr, .cpt, .cmx, .des, .gms, .pat, .cdt, .cpl, .jpg, .gif, .png, .txt, .wpd, and .qpw.

Hope that helps,

Rob
