Importing pdf files into corel draw - colour output problems

Hi, I hope someone can help me.

When opening a pdf file in corel draw, which consits of a photo and some text, and then sending it to a Roland printer, the colours are rather pale

(Regardless is I convert it to CMYK or RGB).

When opening the same file in Adobe Photoshop, and sending it to the printer from there, the colours are bright and vivid.

I need to edit this file in corel though - what could be the problem?

    Kind regards

    Eva

Thanks for looking into my problem.

It is frustrating. We are a signage company and sometimes we get a CD with the file to print and as I said, if I open the file in Corel, the colour output is very pale. If I open the file in Adobe and print from there, the colours are fine.

    Hi again,

I tried something else in the meantime: I opened the  pdf file from the CD in Adobe Photoshop and saved it from there again as a pdf file

This new created pdf file I opened then in Corel Draw and made a test print and the colours are alright. Why is that?

There is some more information on my Corel Colour Settings:
