Dont Buy this product I got 3 copies with the faith of PSP-10.
But X-4 is pure *** dont know who had made and released this version.
Just an simple save command and their is *** on your face it crashes like anything all your spent hours lost my managemnt is shouting at me why i had purchashed 3 copies of it.
Corel team should SCRAP this version and refund all money back to people who had purchased

Running DRAW would depend on lot many things outside DRAW. Your OS and its updated state, RAM, Videocard, Printer and its drivers and compatibility of printer etc. I do not say X4 does not have any issues. Which software on earth proves to be perfect with all 100% users. IMO none. If you have any issues, you may discuss it here and try to find the solutions. If you are facing issues with DRAW then it does not mean that everyone is in you boat.
BTW I dont need a refund. I am happy with what I get out of DRAW and is worth for what I paid for.

As millions users, I use CorelDRAW everyday, all day, for all jobs, and I have no problems with the program. For me, is the best program and X4 is one of the best version. Sorry to hear that you've experienced problems, but only a few people have problems, and in most of the cases are relative to the operating system.

Most problems are also being caused because the program has not been installed as an admin. Due to that the program does not get access to all recources. Which can cause some crashes.
Same here. It's always been like that since as long as I can remember; I started with version 4, not X4. Crashing and glitches have been simply a part of using Corel products for me. Photopaint has never really been stable enough to use for me though. Corel's strength up to around version 8, had always been innovative ideas and simplicity, which have been relentlessly mined by Adobe (and generally made better to be honest), but Corel's weakness has always been reliability. In the past, Adobe products were extremely reliable but not innovative and not so full of features. At the point of CS, Adobe took off like a rocket with plenty of innovations and shameless theft of ideas from Corel and they've actually improved their already solid stability. Today, CS3 and CS4 are rock solid for me. No glitches, no crashes. None. All these years later, many computers, many operating systems (including Macs) computers at home and computers at work, and Corel Draw is as easy to crash as it was many years ago. Sorry if this offends some of the regulars around here, but it is what it is.

I hate to be criticalbut one has to ask the question. If thousands can use the product and you can't who coul dbe at fault? Ihave CorelDRAW X3 and X4 on hundreds of systems with very rpoduction results in many types of businesses.

It's a perfectly good question I think but one that is based on assumed knowledge. I have two answers for it.
1. I used Corel Draw for about 10 years and never once posted on a forum about it's problems. So likely you have counted me among your thousands of assumed satisfied customers.
2. I have a question similar to yours, but not based on assumption, but actual knowledge, my own experience. If hundreds of "programs" can work well on many computers and many operating systems over many years, but a single suite of applications made by a single company have had problems through all those years, same OS's, same computers, same time, same everything, could the problem not be the single suite of programs that have problems? This is the elephant in the room where some handful of you Corel champions are standing.

That's a really dumb comment isn't it. Like most of what you say, it simply ignores what is actually being discussed.

First off I'm not a Corel champion, I'm a technician and a damn good one at that. I use what ever it takes to achieve the goal, Coreldraw Adobe Illustrator, a stick, a rock, an 10 Warthog, or what ever. My experience with CorelDRAW is simple, it's not perfect and I've never seen a perfect application. It is however stable enough in viable environments it produces most graphic requirements at a premium quality and a low total cost of ownership.
Are there application bugs? You bet! Every application has them. Is the product unusable? No it is very usable and profitable to use!!!
In my experience every time I run into a situation like this I go on site and resolve it. It is always user, hardware or user/hardware related.
We had a guy on the old forum with a similar situation, what he found out was that the Dells he purchased were faulty. Dell knew it and had a fix, he was just lucky enough to get the Dell tech who knew what to do.
Some people cheap out and buy crap hardware, can't help them. I build custom machines and can't recall the last time I have an application lockup.

Actually this is simple to answer. I had an Adobe user and a dumb one too boot, who always linked very large 50 MB images to her files when all she needed was a 350KB file. Her documents had 20 of these such images every week. so she had 1 GB of linked images and her ID file was a nightmare to process.
Her work process was never going to work with an application that embeds images. So the fix was to teach her to place the image, size it and ressample to 300 PPI. Now she uses CD X4 and her files are a few MB. better yet since it was only a few hundred per machine she could hire help and now has a staff of 3.
This was not a CorelDRAW problem this was a problem of no training, no one should ever link a 50 MB image unless you need the entire image.

No it's the truth. Literally tens of thousand use the application if you can't it has to be you or your equpiment, period.
I've been on the rifle range with combat experienced Marines who couldn't keep the 16 from jamming so it's not hard to imagine people who can't configure a computer system.
I had one guy try and install CD across their network and kept getting corrupt installs, local install solved the issue. Then there was the moron who installed and then tried to limit user privlidges , because everyone steals the graphics.
You say you're using other programs, are you? Or are you barely using them? Who knows? I'm not on site to see. I only know this if you can't get CorelDRAW to work it's you or your equipment.
Of course CorelDraw is perfectly usable. One could wish for better stability though. When I use the workspace I have customized, after a while I get problems, and they disappear when you do a workspace reset. Too bad you have invested hours in that workspace and also learned a workflow that utilizes it. I bet the better stability of some Adobe apps, is due to the fact that the customization is limited to a few keystrokes, if that much, and that you can move toolbars around. But what use is a customizable workspace if it is not stable? Maybe Corel should limit the customization to fewer, safe, options?
Lars Forslin:Too bad you have invested hours in that workspace and also learned a work flow that utilizes it.
Hey Lars how are you?
The reality here is this when you have a situation like this the technician is responsible to recognize that the task is beyond them and it's time to hire a professional.
The fact is that there are people like me and others who do nothing but support Corel and it's time we speak out against this nonsense that Corel does not work.
We make it work period and we make it work on all systems where the task is appropriate for CorelDRAW.

I've been with DRAW for a while and I've never had to reset my workspace. I see it as the answer to many posts here though?
Puzzling...
