I just "upgraded" to vista and installed x4 and updates but when I import a graphic (previously created as wmf in x4 on my winxp) the import window doesn't display a preview of image (which I so dearly loved when running winxp) and the dropdown menu for the Import button has everything greyed out except the Import option.

I tried every option under Views but nothing gives a preview. I read Help in both Corel and Vista but couldn't find anything about my problem, or maybe it was just my search methods. Searched this forum as well.

I have tried the Organize/Layout/Preview but program still returns a blank preview.

Please help me get my preview window back for importing images. I hate having to import graphic into corel before seeing if everything is okay.

Solution Found. Vista doesn't allow previewing of wmf files! Period.

You can import wmf files to x4 on Vista, but Vista doesn't allow previews of wmf or thumbnails of wmf.

So now I've got several thousand wmf's.....
