I use 3x. for some reason my picktool has started giving me problems.

Problem: When I first open the program the pick tool will not allow me to move anything. I can select something but I can not move it. If I left click and hold then move it and then select move here, that works.

Also the Artistic media tools does not work.

Oddly after some time the pick tool starts to work again.

Has anyone else had this problem.

new one for me. Possible your workspace is corupt. might need to reset to factory default settings.  - Hold F8 key when you see splash screen on initial start up.

You could also try a repair from the main installation disk

Yeah I have tried both of those and even reinstalled. It is very odd. I have used every version of Corel since the beginning of time and have never had this problem.

I thought maybe it was a bug someone else has had. Could be my computer maybe. I have also tried different mouse .

definently wierd and may be attributed to your computer and or graphics card. I was a beta tester for X3 and X4 and have not seen or heard of this issue.

If this is the case, you can disable the Dynamic Guides. Or zoom closer to the object (or group) then move.
