Anyone from Corel have any ideas please?
it runs fine on my windows 7 machine without using compatibility mode...my trouble is on a windows xp machine.
ok so i finally figured this out on my end, i don't know if it will be the same for everyone with this error. i use Panda Cloud Antivirus and this was causing the problem, whenever i want to use Corel now i need to disable my antivirus and it works every time.
I'm sure not everyone with this issue is using Panda Antivirus but i suggest disabling whatever antivirus/spyware solution you are currently running and try Corel again. good luck!

Just go to C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 13\Programs, and then find the "CorelDRW.exe" and click right mouse and "Run as administrator".

When I had that problem, I was attempting to change the english version to french and had not checked all the options under custom installation.
The problem went away when I went back to the installation and checked all the options that went with the french and not taking a chance all the others.

Hello.
The possible solutions are :
Step1. After installation, do the uninstall and then restart the computer. Install it again.
Try to run Corel. If you get “Product installation unsuccessful” message then stop doing Step1 and try Step 2.
Step 2. Explore the Corel Installation Folder. Possible you have more than one executable Setup file. Install Corel by running different Setup file. If you get “Product installation unsuccessful” message then do uninstall and try to install with the other Setup file.
If this Step fails than stop doing Step 2 and try Step3.
Step 3. Although you are logged as Administrator or user with administrator privileges you should open Control Panel application and create new account : user with password also with administrator privileges.
Restart computer and log on with the created new account. Install Corel and then run it.
You will see that Corel DRAW will run it without problems on all accounts.
HOW TO REPAIR THIS
CLICK START THEN RUN AND WRITE IN services.msc
THEN JUST FIND Protexis Licensing
THEN RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND PRESS START
THATS ALL
