    Hi everybody!

Everybody, already try to import some shape from CorelDraw X4 document, by using the Import Command on the main UI ?

In my CorelDraw its delete the comment of my destination document (Active doc), and replace it by the comment of the sources doc, if have a comment.

    Step by step:

    1°-create a new doc

    2°-Add a comment from the File/Document property...

    3°-Save this doc (Graphic1.cdr)

    4°-Create a second new doc

    5°-draw a shape(s) on the active page.

6°-Save this document (Graphic2.cdr) and close it.

(7°-activate the Graphic1.cdr document in the UI.)

    8°-Go to File/Import...

9°-Select the Graphic2.cdr file in the open file dialogue. And click Import.

10°- click on page for validate the import action.

11°- Go to the File/Document Property... and look the Comment text box! Is now empty!

Maybe it's a bug or maybe my CorelDraw is wrongly configured !?

     I can confirm this.

Any import appears to write over the original document comments. Subsequent imports contine to overwrite document properties.

I would consider this a defect as the parent document holding the child document should trump comments.
