Convert a JPEG photo to a wireframe image

I have a photo of my house that I imported.  I am trying to change it to a wireframe so that I could prepare a printing plate and transfer the image onto a Xmas ornament. So far all I am able to do with it is change it to black and white.

Please tell me how to make this photo into a wireframe. I cannot figure it out.

Pls give me step by step instructions as I am a newby. Thank you.

    Marial,

You will most likely need to use the photo as guidance for redrawing it
    manually.

Personally I'd use the Bezier tool to do the drawing.

     Open image in PhotoPaint

    Duplicate object/layer

    Image / Transform / Invert

Change object / layer merge to Color Dodge.

Apply Effect / Blur / Gaussian Blur. More pixels = more details.

How about using something like Steve's new Blackline macro?
