When I apply a specified cmyk color from a pms book or other publication into my Corel Draw drawing it always appears lighter and washed out. PMS, and Rgb look spot on. When I apply the same cmyk color in Adobe illustrator it looks perfect. I cannot problem solve this no matter what color management setting I use. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance, Curt

As seen on the monitor or on the printed media? If it is on the monitor, then it is your color settings in the color manager, regarding the display.

The cmyk printed color comes out lighter and washed out too. Keep in mind..the Pms color and the rgb equal are fine on screen and in print. I have checked the color management settings and they seem in order. So I don't think its the color management display setting. If it is what should I do?

Also, When I take the PMS equal, convert to RGB and then take the RGB and convert to CMYK the proper color displays.

Also, When I find and replace a color pallette or model from PMS to RGB it converts fine and when I find and replace the RGB color to CMYK the proper color displays. But when I find and replace from PMS to CMYK the colors go astray
