I am about to create a single colour logo in CorelDRAW.

I am looking to create a spraypaint effect with paint runs as a background, with the main logo and text reversed out infront of it.

As it is to be a logo, I would like to create it as a vector image (curve).

Is there a tool that I can use to achieve this effect?

I would welcome your suggestions.

Thanks

There are several good and free vector pieces of spots, splats and drips on the web. Very useful for creating your desired effect. The runs of paint can be done the best with the Smudge Tool (second Icon from left in the image):

Thanks for the advice.

As my deadline was short, I sourced bitmap images of paint splatters on the web and used the Trace tool to convert it to curves.  This seemed to work OK although it was a little jaggedy!

I will no doubt take up your advice and try to find these vector images on the web the next time i do something similar!

Cheers

 Try this for example:

I just checked out the link - there's some good stuff on there!

I've saved it as a favourite for future reference.

Thanks
