I am making a calender in corel and need to write Hindi in it. I don't know hindi typing. I have wrote it through Google transileration and paste it in corel. The word श्री is looking as श् री (without space) in corel draw. The matra and the appearing changes. Please let me know how to solve this problem.

Hello All,

I am really interested in copy righting my work but I am not really sure how. I am confused to what or how I should go about copyrighting my images. I have investigated the copyright website but still confused to the process of WHAT SHOULD BE COPY WRITTEN.

To those of you who have copy written your work, should I copyright my signature or each image singularly?

Are there ways around this as an artist?

Graphics Business?

Sorry if this isn't in the proper forum...

After 14 years of working on salary for the same company, I find myself now an independent contractor, still doing graphics for the same company, but now as my own boss.

So I find myself in the odd predicament of being a skilled graphic artist with no clue on the business end of it. And I need to get more clients.

I'm sure I need an online portfolio, which I could do... but can anyone share some ideas how to generate more business? I've been a hired graphic artist for 20 years and never had to go out and get clients. I don't even know where to begin. Door to door? Email? Bids online? Craigslist? It almost seems like too many options to the point that I don't know where to focus my attention.

I went to the library in search of books on the topic, and what I found was horrible outdated. And looking online, I'm seeing mostly varied and generic answers.

And by the way, yes I do all of my graphics using CorelDraw, which is why I am turning to this trusted community for a little guidance. :-)

Graphics to send to Off-Set Printers ?

hope this is the correct forum.

I've created graphics (mainly text with 1 design) in corelDraw, I published a PDF file, sent it to the off-set printer to print it on Heat Transfer release paper and he can work with the file. It's a 2 color.

For future off-set printing for packaging, marketing material etc., what else can be done with Corel ?

Catalogue Creation

Which corel product would be best suited for creating a catalogue for print that could showcase my products to my customers?

I own a plumbing business and have Corel Draw X3. I have used this in the past for Yellow Page design and other marketing. Thanks in advance for any help!

Also, are there any templates available that would help get this catalogue of mine off the ground?

Creating a catalog

Hope someone can help on this. Over the years we have created thouands of designs for customers and stock. I need a way to print them in a catalog format so we can quickly reference them. Over 95% of images are coreldraw images. Is there a way I can convert them all the .jpg or .pdf files for reference so no one can mess will the originals. Any help would be appreciated.
