Hi,

I have been asked to convert an object from Corel into a DST.  I am not sure what DST stands for but I don't see that as an option in either the "save as" or the "export."  Does anyone know if this is something I can do using Corel?

Thanks,

Cindy

Hello Cindy,

DST is a format for Embroidery. You will need to use a program like Deco Studio to make this conversion. Deco Studio is a program that has CorelDRAW and Wilcom Embroidery software in it. Maybe someone that has that software can help out.

Thank you for the quick answer and explanation.  I do not have Deco Studio so I will ask if the person can accept the object in a different format.

I have Deco Studio but to convert a vector file to DST is called digitizing there is a charge for making that conversion. It is not like converting to bitmap. Often there is a fair amount of time taken to get everything to work properly. Attach the vector file and I will give you a price for digitizing it, if you like. If not, no problem.

if they are wanting a dst file you will need to have the image digitized. If you need a good digitizer let me know and i will refer you to one I have been using for years.  If the design is simple I might be able to digitize it myself.
