Try a repair of the PPX4 installation under your new Windows 7 OS.

And make sure you have the Service Packs installed, too.

I would suggest a clean install of the software. I always advised that a clean install of an new Operating System.

If you can't then I suggest that you reset your workspace. Hold F8 while the program starts to load the default settings. Similarly, you can use the repair installation from the DVD. Just run setup again and you will see that option.

I did an uninistall of Draw X4. Downloaded the current trial version , added my orginal activation numbers. Now no problem.

Have you tried Reset All Brush Types? Open the Brush Settings Docker and make sure you have a brush selected. At the top right of the docker there is a very small button with an arrow on it. When you click on this button a drop-down box appears as shown in my attachmed image. Choose "Reset All Brush Types". In my attached image the button I am referring to is not visible as the drop-down box has covered it.

thanks for the tip Brian ... but, Nada, nothing happens... perhaps the pollution in delhi is screwing things up between corel x3 / x4 and  windows 7.

seriously though and as i told anand,  the "undo" and "redo" commands on the standard toolbar keep flickering whenever the source-point clone brush is activated.
