I am using Ventura 10 and I am having problems with the Copy Editor view. I use that view to edit indexes etc., but now, suddenly, from one second to the other, all text in the Copy Editor view appears in ancient Greek! have tried changing configuration settings, reinstalling, but nothing helps. Any solution for this? Unfortunately, I haven´t studied ancient Greek... The text in Page Layout view is in English. Thanks in advance.

Go to Tools | Options | Workspace | Copy Editor and check the font specified for the view. It's possible that the specified font was changed. I'm guessing that whatever font you were using got overwritten, corrupted or deinstalled.

It's also possible that your workspace got corrupted.

Thanks, your indications seem to have solved the problem. I hope I don´t have a corrupted file though...

If your font problem has been solved, then your workspace is probably ok.

If you've customized it at all, it's a good idea to save it under a specific name. Since I customize extensively, I also keep a safe copy on another partition. That way, I can reload it when necessary.

Similarly, it's a good idea to save to a new name when you make a change. If the current workspace gets corrupted, you can reload the previous version without losing too much.
